My stay at Guest House Rosi was a delightful retreat immersed in the stunning natural beauty of Tolmin. The warm embrace of the hosts, offering their own delightful homemade wine and rakija, set the tone for a memorable experience. The presence of their intelligent and playful dog Taja added an extra layer of joy to our stay, making us feel at home.The apartment we had on the ground floor was impeccably clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities, including a well-appointed kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. The tile/marble floors and a cozy dining area added a touch of elegance to the space. The availability of free WiFi was crucial for staying connected during our week-long visit.The host, Tine, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering helpful recommendations on hiking trails and providing lifts to nearby attractions, showcasing true Slovenian hospitality. The surrounding scenery was simply breathtaking, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore hiking and cycling routes around Tolmin.While the location requires a car for easy access to larger towns like Bovec or Triglav, the tranquility of the lush green surroundings, complete with a picturesque river and friendly animals like donkeys, created a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The well-equipped shed for cooking and the friendly presence of Taja, the dog, and a cat added an endearing charm to the place, making it suitable for families and solo travelers alike. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway intertwined with genuine hospitality and captivating landscapes.
